Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho reportedly lodges a bid for Brazilian star Hulk.

Chelsea have allegedly submitted a £35m bid for Zenit St Petersburg star Hulk.

Blues manager Jose Mourinho has turned his attention to the Brazilian after failing to secure the services of Radamel Falcao, according to The Mirror.

Hulk was linked with Chelsea last summer, but the Premier League outfit failed to agree terms with his previous club Porto.

The 26-year-old has endured a difficult season in Russia, falling out of favour with fans and being subjected to dressing-room friction due to his high wages.

Mourinho is also said to be targeting Napoli forward Edinson Cavani, but faces competition from Manchester City for his services.
