Chelsea are reportedly confident that Juventus will sell on-loan striker Gonzalo Higuain on the cheap at the end of the season.
The 31-year-old joined the Blues on an initial six-month deal in January with the option to make that permanent in the summer.
Higuain has impressed during his first four games for the West London outfit, even if results have been poor during that spell, scoring twice in the 5-0 win over Huddersfield Town to earn the acclaim of his teammates.
Chelsea were asked by Juventus to pay around £32m to land the Argentina international on a full-time basis, but ESPN reports that the Blues believe they can land him for a smaller price.
Juventus are said to be desperate to get Higuain and his £16m-a-year wages off their books, having already added Cristiano Ronaldo to their squad last summer and agreed a mammoth package with Aaron Ramsey, who will join in July.
However, the report also indicates that Chelsea will only attempt to bring in Higuain permanently if Maurizio Sarri - currently under pressure following a poor run of domestic results - is still in charge.
