Chelsea have reportedly agreed a long-term contract with primary transfer target Kai Havertz.
While Bayer Leverkusen are keen for their star man to remain in the squad for the completion of the Europa League, talks have continued behind the scenes.
However, despite the two sides having yet to reach a compromise over a fee, RMC Sport suggests that Chelsea have had more success with personal terms.
The report claims that Havertz has agreed to pen a deal which will keep him tied to the Premier League side until the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
Despite alleged interest from elsewhere, the Germany international is said to be keen on a switch to Stamford Bridge, where he will join compatriots Antonio Rudiger and Timo Werner.
The 21-year-old will likely feature for Leverkusen when they square off against Inter Milan in the Europa League quarter-finals on Monday evening.
