Chelsea have reportedly ended their interest in attempting to sign RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner.
Throughout the January transfer window, the Blues were one of a number of teams open to securing a deal for the Germany international, who has netted 27 times this season.
Although it soon became clear that the 24-year-old would see out the campaign at his current club, speculation persists regarding a switch to Liverpool in the summer.
According to The Athletic, the Blues feel that they are only outsiders to the Merseyside giants in the race for Werner.
With that in mind, Chelsea will allegedly focus their attention on attempting to bring in Lyon attacker Moussa Dembele.
As it stands, it is unclear whether the West Londoners will part ways with Olivier Giroud or Michy Batshuayi before the beginning of next season.
