Cesc Fabregas declares himself "happy" at Chelsea and plays down talk of moving on at the end of the campaign.

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has insisted that he is "happy" at Stamford Bridge and wants to remain in place for at least another season.

The Spain international has been more of a regular under Antonio Conte this campaign compared to 2016-17, having already started nine games more in the Premier League.

Following a disappointing season for the Blues, there had been suggestions that a number of players could make way in the summer when a new manager is expected to take charge.

Fabregas does not intend to move on, though, telling Cadena Cope: "I'm happy and would like to continue here next season, I'm very good at Chelsea."

Taking all competitions into account, the 30-year-old has 41 appearances to his name this term.
