Burnley have reportedly emerged as a Premier League option for Chelsea's in-demand striker Patrick Bamford.
The 22-year-old, who endured disappointing top-flight loan spells at Crystal Palace and Norwich City last season, was believed to be edging close to a loan switch to Championship outfit Aston Villa.
Several other second-tier sides, including Queens Park Rangers, Fulham and Wolverhampton Wanderers, have also been credited with an interest with Bamford, who impressed with a prolific spell for Middlesbrough in the 2014-15 season.
According to The Sun, Sean Dyche's Burnley have now entered the race and are open to taking Bamford either on a loan or a permanent basis.
Bamford, who is believed to prefer a move to a Premier League side, is currently valued at around £4.25m.
