Birmingham City 'join race to sign Chelsea youngster Kasey Palmer'

Birmingham City reportedly join the race to sign Chelsea prospect Kasey Palmer on loan.

Birmingham City have reportedly joined a host of other Championship clubs in the race for Chelsea youngster Kasey Palmer's services.

The Blues are hoping to sign the 21-year-old on loan but face competition from Norwich City and Sheffield United, according to the Daily Mail.

Palmer, who spent half of last season on loan at Huddersfield Town, is also said to have attracted interest from Premier League side Newcastle United.

Birmingham reportedly attempted to sign the Chelsea prospect in January, but missed out to beaten playoff semi-finalists Derby County.

Palmer made four appearances for Huddersfield and a further 14 for the Rams in 2017-18.
