Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has acknowledged that the German giants are still keen to sign Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi.
The 18-year-old was the subject of a number of offers from Bayern during the January transfer window, but Chelsea opted to keep the academy graduate until the end of the season.
However, Rummenigge has suggested that Bayern will continue their efforts to secure the signature of Hudson-Odoi, who has less than 18 months left on his contract at Stamford Bridge.
Rummenigge is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "We want to have the best quality of players at Bayern and Hasan [Salihamidzic, director] is totally convinced of this player. That's the reason.
"The only thing that Hasan would have been happy to finish was this player from Chelsea, because he had practically fallen in love with this player on account of his quality.
"I wouldn't deny now that the aggressive courting didn't go over well in London. But you also can't forget that Hasan Salihamidzic had to give the player a sign somewhere."
Hudson-Odoi has made four starts and six substitute appearances for Chelsea in all competitions this season.
