A report claims that Ousmane Dembele will remain at Barcelona following a bright start to pre-season, ruling out speculation of a move to Chelsea.

Barcelona are reportedly reluctant to use Ousmane Dembele as part of a swap deal that would see Willian or Eden Hazard join from Chelsea.

Reports emerged earlier this week suggesting that the £135m forward would be offered in an attempt to loosen the Blues' hold on two of their star attackers.

Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo claims that Dembele will not be leaving Camp Nou this summer, however, with Barca hopeful of an upturn in fortunes during his second campaign at the club.

Dembele is said to have made a positive start to pre-season and is injury-free, leaving Ernesto Valverde optimistic for the season ahead.

The report does not state whether Barcelona will continue to pursue either Chelsea player.
