Ajax manager Erik ten Hag has indicated that goalkeeper Andre Onana will be allowed to sign for a new club during the next transfer window.
Over the past two seasons, Onana has progressed into one of the most highly-regarded stoppers in Europe, which has led to speculation regarding a potential move to either Chelsea or Barcelona.
While Ajax will not accept a cut-price fee for the Cameroon international, Ten Hag has hinted that the 24-year-old will leave the Dutch giants in the coming months.
Speaking to Algemeen Dagblad, Ten Hag said: "Andre is very important to us.
"Of course we don't want to lose him, but it's true that we have an agreement from last year about the development scenario and what steps we will take if the right club comes in at the right price."
A previous report has claimed that Onana would prefer to sign for Barcelona, a club that he represented during his youth days.
