Team News: Three changes for Chelsea for Southampton trip

Andre Schurrle starts for Chelsea as Jose Mourinho makes three changes to his starting lineup to face Southampton at St Mary's.

Jose Mourinho has made three changes to Chelsea's starting lineup as they look to maintain their three-point lead at the top of the Premier League table on their trip to Southampton this afternoon.

Oscar misses out, while Cesar Azpilicueta and Willian drop to the bench as Filipe Luis, John Obi Mikel and Andre Schurrle get the nod.

Meanwhile, Southampton have made four changes to the side that cruised past Crystal Palace on Boxing Day.

Loanee Ryan Bertrand misses out as he cannot play against his parent club, but Jose Fonte is back from suspension, while Victor Wanyama, Dusan Tadic and Premier League debutant Matt Targett all start.

Southampton: Forster, Fonte, Alderweireld, Yoshida, Tadic, Wanyama, Schneiderlin, Davis, Targett, Pelle, Mane
Subs: Davis, Gardos, Long, Ward-Prowse, Reed, McCarthy

Chelsea: Courtois, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Luis, Matic, Mikel, Schurrle, Fabregas, Hazard, Costa
Subs: Cech, Zouma, Azpilicuera, Ramires, Willian, Remy, Drogba
