Team News: Petr Cech makes first Premier League start of season for Chelsea against Hull City

Petr Cech makes his first Premier League start of the season for Chelsea against Hull City as he replaces the injured Thibaut Courtois.

Petr Cech will make his first Premier League start of the season for Chelsea in their clash with Hull City this afternoon.

The keeper replaces the injured Thibaut Courtois in the Blues' net, while Cesc Fabregas is also missing for Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge due to suspension. John Obi Mikel and Nemanja Matic start in midfield together in light of the Spaniard's absence.

Filipe Luis starts in place of Cesar Azpilicueta at left-back, while Diego Costa leads the line for the Blues.

Hull boss Steve Bruce has made three changes to his side that drew with West Bromwich Albion last week at the KC Stadium.

Andrew Robertson, Nikica Jelavic and Curtis Davies all come into the team to replace Liam Rosenior, Abel Hernandez and Stephen Quinn.

Chelsea: Cech, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Luis, Mikel, Matic, Willian, Oscar, Hazard, Costa
Subs: Schwarzer, Zouma, Azpilicueta, Ramires, Schurrle, Remy, Drogba

Hull: McGregor, Robertson, Davies, Dawson, Chester, Elmohamady, Huddlestone, Livermore, Meyler, Aluko, Jelavic
Subs: Jakupovic, Rosenior, Bruce, Hernandez, Brady, Ramirez, Quinn
