Chelsea move to the top of the table after goals from Jose Bosingwa, Frank Lampard and debutant Juan Mata were enough to see off Norwich City 3-1 at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea briefly moved to the top of the Premiership table after a goal from debutant Juan Mata and a Frank Lampard spot-kick sealed all three points against Norwich City.

Blues fullback Jose Bosingwa put the home side ahead after 6 minutes, with a long-range strike.

Norwich forward Grant Holt grabbed an equaliser just after the hour mark, following a blunder by back-up home keeper Hilario.

Moments later, Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas sent on both Nicolas Anelka and Juan Mata, after striker Didier Drogba was knocked-out in a collision with visiting keeper John Ruddy.

With 10 minutes to go, plus added time, the Canaries keeper was dismissed after fouling Ramires in the box. Frank Lampard scored from the spot to put the home side ahead, before Mata secured the win with a goal in the final minutes.
