Xavi hits out at Jose Mourinho

Barcelona midfielder Xavi criticises Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho for a perceived lack of attractive football with the teams he manages.

Barcelona midfielder Xavi has criticised Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho for prizing results above playing attractive football.

The Spain international has said that he was disappointed by what he sees as the Portuguese's insistence on results above performances with the teams that he manages.

Xavi told Panenka magazine: "Pep Guardiola is an important person for me - Jose Mourinho is a coach who focuses only on results.

"He says he is 'The Special One' because he won this and that in so many countries but I do not like the way his teams play.

"Who remembers the Inter Milan side who were champions of Europe? For me, he has not left a legacy, unlike Johan Cruyff has in the Netherlands."

Barca are currently top of La Liga.
