Report: Jose Mourinho to sign new four-year deal at Chelsea

Jose Mourinho is reportedly in line to sign a new four-year deal at Chelsea at the end of the current campaign.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is expected to sign a new four-year contract at Stamford Bridge during the summer, according to a report.

The 52-year-old, who initially penned a deal of the same length when he returned to the club for a second spell in 2013, is said to be more than happy to commit his future to managing the Blues.

It is claimed by The Times that a new package has been lined up for the Portuguese, with discussions to take place once the season is over.

Chelsea are on course to win an impressive treble this season - sitting seven points clear of Manchester City in the Premier League with 13 games left to play, while the 1-1 draw away at Paris Saint-Germain in the week has left the West London outfit in a strong position to progress into the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

There is also a League Cup final to come in the next fortnight against rivals Tottenham Hotspur, which has reportedly led to club chiefs preparing a fresh contract offer.

Mourinho has also enjoyed spells in charge of Porto, Inter Milan and Real Madrid.
