Roman Abramovich will reportedly offer Pep Guardiola an astronomical sum to become Chelsea manager at the end of this season.
The Chelsea owner is said to be intent on winning the race for Guardiola, who is on a year's sabbatical in New York, and will offer the former Barcelona boss £20m a year, according to ESPN.
Other European giants Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan and Bayern Munich are also said to be interested in bringing the Spaniard back to management.
Chelsea employed Rafael Benitez as an interim first-team manager following the departure of Roberto Di Matteo and many see the former Liverpool coach as a temporary solution until Abramovich goes for Guardiola.
