Jose Mourinho: 'Chelsea are a clean side'

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho claims that his side are "clean" following controversy over alleged diving in their 2-0 Premier League win against Hull City.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has refuted criticism of his side's alleged diving during Saturday's 2-0 win against Hull City in the Premier League by insisting that the Blues are "clean".

Eden Hazard and Diego Costa secured the points for the hosts at Stamford Bridge, but Willian and Gary Cahill were criticised for appearing to dive during the game, with the latter on a yellow card at the time of the incident.

Mourinho told BBC Sport after the game: "It didn't look like a physical game. The direct red card I didn't see on TV, I have no idea. The yellow cards, again from my position, it's difficult to judge, but I give the referee the doubt.

"We spoke last season about simulation because we had a situation last season and I was the first one to say to Oscar, against Southampton, that he has to stay on his feet but the reality is that many players from other teams do that too much.

"In Chelsea we are clean. Willian was in the middle of the pitch, so not even a reason to dive, and I don't think Diego's is a dive."

Chelsea sit three points clear of second-placed Manchester City at the summit of the Premier League table after continuing their 100% home record.
