Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Montella has compared Mohamed Salah to Lionel Messi after the winger's impressive run of form.
Salah, on loan at the Italian club from Chelsea, has scored six times in his first 10 games for the club.
The Serie A outfit have the option to purchase the 22-year-old in the summer, and Montella was full of praise for the Egyptian.
Montella told TV station Mediaset Premium: "For now, we have benefited. We knew the superb characteristics of the player, but we did not expect him to have such an impact on Italian football.
"Perhaps only Messi is faster than him with the ball at one's feet."
Fiorentina, who are currently 5th in the table, face Udinese tomorrow evening.
