Nemanja Matic: 'Chelsea were unlucky'

Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic believes that the team were unlucky not to come away with a win against West Bromwich Albion.

Nemanja Matic has said that Chelsea were unlucky not to come away with a win in the Premier League leaders' draw against West Bromwich Albion this evening.

Branislav Ivanovic had given the Blues the lead, but Victor Anichebe equalised late on, ensuring that the game finished 1-1.

"We are not happy to draw 1-1, we came here to win but this is football, this is life. We were unlucky but we have to concentrate on the next game," BBC Sport quotes the midfielder as saying.

The result leaves Chelsea two points clear at the top of the table.
