Former Inter Milan defender Marco Materazzi reopens his war of words with Rafael Benitez by mocking the Chelsea interim manager's weight.

Former Inter Milan defender Marco Materazzi has reopened his war-of-words feud with Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez, insisting that he feels sorry for the club.

The pair's relationship dates back to their time together at the San Siro when the Spaniard, who recently labelled the Italian "a liar" in the wake of Materazzi's verbal attack, was in charge of the Serie A outfit.

"So I'm a liar," questioned Materazzi. "He's thin then, so that gives reason to call me a liar.

"It pains me to say good luck to Chelsea but I will anyway. I feel sorry for their fans. If I was president of a club, I would not trust him with my team."

Materazzi called time on his career in 2011 following 10 years at the San Siro.
