Cesc Fabregas angered by Anthony Taylor display

Cesc Fabregas claims that Anthony Taylor had a "really bad game" in Chelsea's 1-1 draw with Southampton.

Cesc Fabregas has refused to hold back in his criticism of referee Anthony Taylor following Chelsea's 1-1 draw with Southampton at St Mary's Stadium.

As Chelsea went in search of the winner in the second half, Fabregas appeared to be fouled by Matt Targett in the box, but the Spaniard received a booking when Taylor decided he had dived.

"I don't think the referee had the best game of his life," the Chelsea midfielder told Sky Sports News. "I don't know if he will be able to sleep well tonight or not, he had a really bad game.

"But, we're all human, I'm sure this will happen as it happens to everyone. We have a bad day at the office and that's it. We have to talk about football and the football we played today was good."

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho joined Fabregas in questioning Taylor's decisions after the game.
