Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo has dismissed suggestions that playmakers Oscar, Eden Hazard and Juan Mata can not all play in the same team.
The trio all started for the first time yesterday as Chelsea beat Stoke City 1-0.
The Blues needed an Ashley Cole winner six minutes from time, leading to doubts as to whether they could field Mata as well as the two new signings and be successful.
"It's the first time we have tried it," Di Matteo told the club's official website. "It certainly needs more work and practice, to integrate them tactically.
"I thought today it worked very well, but it will take time for them to get to know each other better.
"I want them to have mobility and rotation. They are very intelligent at finding free space, we did lack a bit of width at times and needed to full-backs to help out."
The three players are likely to get a rest in Chelsea's next match, against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the League Cup.
