Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has suggested that Maurizio Sarri will not pen a new contract at the Serie A club this summer.
Sarri has just guided Napoli to second place in the standings and reports have persisted that Chelsea are ready to activate the Italian's release clause before the end of the month.
There had been claims that Sarri would agree to fresh terms in Naples, but it appears that De Laurentiis is losing patience with the situation.
De Laurentiis told Radio Kiss Kiss: "There is no more time For Sarri, he didn't answer. Ask him, he has always sent me to Pellegrini (Sarri's agent), he never gave me an answer. He only replied, 'boh!'
"I have to take responsibility. At some point we have to move forward. I'm not saying he'll leave. There is a release clause, we'll see what will happen."
Sarri has previously said that De Laurentiis is free to 'fire him' if he is unhappy with the club missing out of the top-flight title.
