Ashley Cole has reportedly told Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas that he feels stifled by the manager's tactics.
Cole was on the bench along with Frank Lampard and Michael Essien for Chelsea's 3-1 defeat to Napoli in the Champions League last night.
The left-back made his feelings known to Villas-Boas in a meeting on Sunday, according to The Sun.
"I came here to win medals and trophies, but I'm never going to do that with your tactics," the paper quotes Cole as telling the Portuguese manager.
Villas-Boas has admitted that Cole and Lampard were "disappointed" with his team selection.
Chelsea next face Bolton Wanderers in the Premier League on Saturday.
