Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg will reportedly learn this week whether he will face action following Chelsea's complaint to the Football Association.
The Champions League winners have accused the 37-year-old of using "inappropriate language" when speaking to midfielder John Obi Mikel during the Blues' 3-2 defeat to Manchester United last month.
Since then, the English governing body have been investigating the claims and it is believed that a decision regarding a possible charge against Clattenburg will be made by the end of the week, according to PA Sport.
It is believed that the alleged language used was of a racial nature, with some reports claiming that Clattenburg referred to Mikel as a "monkey".
