Chelsea are reportedly lining up Malaga coach Manuel Pellegrini as their next manager.
The Blues met with the Chilean coach in Paris last Friday to discuss whether or not the former Real Madrid boss would be interested in taking over at Stamford Bridge, according to The Telegraph.
Pellegrini has restored his reputation with the Andalusian side this season after leading them to the Champions League quarter-final in their maiden season in the competition.
They were eventually beaten by Borussia Dortmund, but the performance of the 59-year-old has caught the eye of the Blues' hierarchy.
Chelsea's current interim manager Rafael Benitez looks certain to leave the club at the end of the campaign, meaning that club owner Roman Abramovich is searching for his 10th manager in as many years.
