Chelsea have reportedly made positive progress in their contract talks with Mason Mount.
The creative midfielder has been with the Blues since he was a young boy and the club are keen to agree a new deal with him, committing his future to them.
According to a report by Football Insider, a breakthrough has taken place in the talks between them, with both parties now ready to get the contract done.
There had been speculation about the English international being unsettled, with rumours linking him with Liverpool, while Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Manchester City are also interested.
However, there is a positive feeling that the latest offer will be accepted by Mount, with his current contract set to expire at the end of summer in 2024.
The midfielder was involved in Chelsea's most recent performance which saw them defeat Leicester City 3-0, with the Blues remaining top of the Premier League.
