Chelsea will reportedly do everything in their power to keep Callum Hudson-Odoi at the club next season, even if they avoid a transfer ban.
The recently-capped England international was the subject of a £35m bid from Bayern Munich in the summer, which the Blues knocked back.
Hudson-Odoi asked to leave Stamford Bridge in January and, despite starting back-to-back Premier League games over the past week, he is believed to still favour a move away this summer.
According to the Evening Standard, though, Chelsea are determined to keep hold of the 18-year-old for at least another 12 months.
That is despite the fact that they risk losing the youngster on a free contract in 2020, on top of the threat of a looming transfer ban for signing foreign minors.
Chelsea will attempt to delay or overturn FIFA's two-window ban, but it is claimed that Hudson-Odoi is part of their future plans regardless of the outcome of their court hearing.
