Chelsea have reportedly added RB Leipzig chief Christopher Vivell to their search for a new technical director.
The Blues are currently looking for a sporting director and technical director, with co-owner Todd Boehly hoping to have both roles filled in the near future.
Chelsea recently failed in their attempts to appoint RB Salzburg's Christoph Freund, but they appear to be turning their attention to Freund's former colleague.
According to the Standard, Chelsea have identified Vivell as a potential candidate to fulfil the role of technical director.
Vivell has worked with RB Leipzig since 2020, while he was previously employed by Salzburg where he helped find emerging talent such as Erling Braut Haaland.
A recent report also indicated that Leeds United chief Victor Orta features on a four-man shortlist for the sporting director vacancy.
Atalanta's head of recruitment Lee Congleton has been linked with the Blues as well as Monchi and Rui Pedro Braz, who are currently employed by Sevilla and Benfica respectively.
Bayer Leverkusen director Tim Steidten is also believed to be another person of interest, with Chelsea set to hold interviews over the next month.
