Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has hailed the impact of attacking duo Fernando Torres and Samuel Eto'o during the club's fixtures over the Christmas period.
Both players broke their recent scoring duck with goals against Liverpool and Southampton respectively, and Cech has praised their efforts as Chelsea look to keep pace at the top of the Premier League table.
The 31-year-old told the London Evening Standard: "Samuel scored an important one at home against Liverpool and Fernando has scored a very important one against Southampton, so it is great for them.
"Are they finding form at the right time? Yes. They have been working really hard for the team. Sometimes the stats are not the element, you need to look at how the player works for the team and tactically works during the game.
"They have both been brilliant and now they have got their rewards with a goal. Everybody is happy that they are scoring and will remind them about that."
Torres has scored seven goals in 20 games for the Blues during the current campaign, while Eto'o has netted five times in 18 appearances.
