Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has described Frank Lampard as a "true legend" after the midfielder announced his decision to leave Stamford Bridge after 13 years at the club.
The England international confirmed on Monday that his time at Chelsea has come to an end after his contract expired.
After the news was announced, Cech tweeted: "It has been a privilege to have played with a true cfc legend and one of the most influential PL players ever."
Lampard has been linked with a move to new MLS franchise New York City, whose first signing David Villa was unveiled yesterday.
