Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has claimed that Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is a "master" at time-wasting.
The Blues boss complained about the tactics that Newcastle United used in their 2-1 win over his side on Saturday and accused ball boys of wasting time.
However, Carragher believes that Mourinho has contradicted himself, following his theatrics in Chelsea's win at Liverpool last season.
"Maybe those ball boys were watching the game at Anfield last season," Carragher told Sky Sports News.
"Jose Mourinho gave a masterclass in time-wasting that day. We covered the game and there were six minutes added on so it is all added together.
"He is the master at time-wasting."
The defeat at St James' Park was Chelsea's first of the Premier League season.
