Andre Villas-Boas says that there will always be speculation over his future if Chelsea continue to lose games.

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has admitted that he expects plenty of speculation regarding his future following the Blues' Champions League defeat to Napoli.

The former Premier League champions slumped to a 3-1 defeat against the Italian side in the first leg of the round of 16 last night following a controversial team selection.

"Speculation will continue as the results don't happen," said Villas-Boas.

Rumours have been rife that the 34-year-old may have to cut his Chelsea career short following a number of disappointing results this season, as well as reported unrest in the dressing room.

England international Ashley Cole is believed to have blasted Villas-Boas's tactics, which led to the full-back being omitted from last night's starting XI.
