Rio Ferdinand has predicted that Paris Saint-Germain will win this year's Champions League ahead of this week's semi-final first legs.
PSG are aiming to go one better than last year, when they lost 1-0 against Bayern Munich in the final through a goal from former player Kingsley Coman, in order to lift the trophy for the very first time.
Mauricio Pochettino's side beat last year's champions on away goals in the quarter-final, to set up Wednesday's first-leg clash against Manchester City.
Former Manchester United defender Ferdinand has predicted on his YouTube channel, Rio Ferdinand Presents FIVE: "I think Paris Saint-Germain will win it, they have the experience of last season, two strikers, the business end of the season they know what it's about now.
"They've been here together, they're not fazed and I think they'll have the experience. Pochettino comes up smelling of roses after a turbulent couple of years. But my guess is that if he wins the Champions League they're giving him a statue outside that place almost."
PSG will have to not only overcome Manchester City but also be victorious in the final against either Chelsea or Real Madrid.
