Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink has said that he is "relatively happy" with the situation in his side's Champions League tie with Paris Saint-Germain, despite losing the first leg this evening.
Edinson Cavani came off the bench to score the winning goal 12 minutes from time at the Parc des Princes, giving PSG a narrow advantage heading into the second leg at Stamford Bridge next month.
However, John Obi Mikel struck a valuable away goal for the English champions, which Hiddink believes will be "important" over the two legs.
"The result is negative but on the other hand an away goal is important. It hurt a bit because the team was playing decently against a team with capacity to play. But we are still in the race," he told BT Sport.
"We were not lethal enough at times but otherwise we can be relatively happy. We didn't moan a lot about the absence of players and the rest got the confidence and did what they were asked.
"Over two legs, it is important you have the away goal. If we can do it at Stamford Bridge then a defeat doesn't count so much."
The defeat was the first that Chelsea have suffered in 12 matches since Hiddink returned to the club.
