Charlton Athletic boss Chris Powell believes that Mark Gower will bring "Premiership experience and quality" to the Championship club.
The Addicks signed the former Southend United midfielder on loan from Swansea City last month, but has not been deemed fit enough to make his debut thus far.
"He's trained with us a couple of times. He's clearly not ready for Championship football at this present time, but he will be by then," Powell told reporters at a press conference.
"We will train right and we will make sure that he will bring what he's got, which is quality. He's a good footballer and has got a good eye for a pass and will bring his Premiership experience and quality to us."
Charlton currently sit 14th in the Championship table.
