The Ukrainian Football Federation has announced that the 2018 Champions League final will be hosted at the Olympic Stadium in Kiev.
The competition's showpiece will be held in the Ukrainian capital one month before Russia host the World Cup.
The venue, which holds 70,000 seats, is no stranger to major football tournaments having been one of the stadia used in the 2012 European Championships.
Today, the head of Ukraine's football governing body, Andriy Pavelko, announced the news on the Federation's official website.
The announcement comes one day after Slovenian Aleksander Ceferin was elected the new UEFA president.
