Celtic moved to within four points of SPL leaders Rangers with a 1-0 win over Dundee United on Sunday afternoon.
It was Celtic who made the early running and the Hoops almost scored the opener after just five minutes but Paul Dixon produced a lunging tackle to deny Georgios Samaras.
The opener did come after 12 minutes however when James Forrest found Gary Hooper and the striker finished coolly into the bottom corner.
Celtic continued to dominate proceedings as the half wore on and Du-Ri Cha almost added a second after 42 minutes but his effort from inside the box drifted just over the bar.
The away side exerted more pressure as the second half advanced but they could not find the second despite a series of chances.
Celtic will hope to close the gap on Rangers once more when they face Hearts next Saturday, while Dundee United travel to Inverness.
