Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon has insisted that he will not become complacent following his return to football earlier this year.
The 31-year-old was out of action for two years due to a number of serious knee injuries, but signed for Celtic in the summer and has since earned a recall to the Scotland side.
However, the former Sunderland man is keen to continue his improvement in order to maintain his place in the team.
"I put the hard work in. I did everything I possibly could, and thankfully it's enabled me to get to a point in fitness where I could then concentrate on football," Gordon told reporters.
"I can't rest on that now. I've got to continue to push on and still try and improve. There is still a possibility of goalkeepers coming in, so I have try and continue to keep pushing as hard as I can to maintain my levels."
Gordon has made 13 appearances for Ronny Deila's side in all competitions this season.
