Celtic have taken a 2-0 lead into the break against Inverness Caledonian Thistle after goals from Victor Wanyama and Tony Watt.
The champions started at a good pace and were rewarded for their early pressure when Victor Wanyama headed past Ryan Esson after a powerful Adam Mathhews corner in the second minute.
Charlie Mulgrew almost extended Celtic's lead just moments later but his free kick from 25 yards crashed against the crossbar with Inverness looking rattled.
Terry Butcher's side were almost level midway through the first half but Fraser Forster pushed a shot from Aaron Doran past the post.
However, the home side's failure to level the match was punished just moments later when Tony Watt finished well after a solo run.
Filip Twardzik's cross nearly provided a second goal for Watt late on in the first half but a good performance means Neil lennon's side comfortably lead at the break.
