Team News: Russell Slade sticks with same starting XI for Cardiff City

Cardiff City manager Russell Slade names an unchanged team while Hal Robson-Kanu returns for Reading in the Championship.

Russell Slade has named an unchanged starting lineup for his Cardiff City side's Championship clash with Reading this evening.

The hosts were held to a goalless draw by 10-man Birmingham City before the international break, but the manager is sticking with Adam Le Fondre and Federico Macheda up front, while Kenwyne Jones is back on the bench.

Meanwhile, there is just a single change for the visitors, who were beaten by Charlton Athletic in their previous fixture.

Hal Robson-Kane returns for Nigel Adkins's men, with Jamie Mackie dropping out of the side with a hamstring injury.

Cardiff: Marshall, Brayford, Turner, Morrison, Connolly, Whittingham, Gunnarsson, Noone, Pilkington, Le Fondre, Macheda
Subs: Fabio, Ecuele Manga, Adeyemi, Jones, Daehli, Morrison, Moore

Reading: Federici, Kelly, Gunter, Pearce, Hector, Norwood, Williams, Robson-Kanu, Obita, Murray, Cox
Subs: Andersen, Cummings, Cooper, Tshibola, Taylor, McCleary, Blackman
