Cardiff City boss Russell Slade disappointed by Rotherham United draw

Cardiff City boss Russell Slade admits that his side did not play well enough during their goalless draw at home to Rotherham in the Championship.

Cardiff City boss Russell Slade has admitted his disappointment after seeing his side draw 0-0 at home to Rotherham United.

The Bluebirds managed just two shots on target during the match as struggling Rotherham fought hard for a share of the spoils.

Cardiff have slipped down to ninth place in the Championship table, two points adrift of the top six.

"The whole changing room is very disappointed because we got a terrific result last week, trained really well but were below par today," Slade is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

"We deviated from our game plan and what we're good at and it hasn't got us the result that we wanted. If you look at the bigger picture, it's our third clean sheet in four, however, are we the finished article? Of course we are not."

Cardiff are back in action next Saturday when they make the trip to promotion hopefuls Bournemouth.
