Scott Arfield has put pen to paper on a new three-year contract with Championship side Burnley.
The midfielder's previous deal was due to expire in two years' time, so he has extended his stay by a further year.
"I'm buzzing and I think this is an indication from the club that they want to be back in the Premier League and that's certainly where I want to be," the 26-year-old told the club website.
Arfield has featured in all but two of the Clarets' league games since joining from Huddersfield Town two years ago, scoring eight goals in the 2013-14 Championship campaign to help Burnley earn automatic promotion to the Premier League.
