Burnley goalkeeper Lee Grant has admitted that it will be very difficult for the club to retain the services of top goalscorer Jay Rodriguez this summer.
The 22-year-old striker has scored 21-goals in 42 appearances this season, prompting him to be selected in the Championship's PFA Team of the Year.
"It has been well documented how well Jay has done this season and for a club like Burnley it will be very difficult to keep hold of him," Grant told Sky Sports News.
"The calibre of clubs that will be looking at him are from the Premier League and if they come knocking with huge financial sums it will hard for the club to say no I'd imagine.
"It would be a shame for the squad because we'd love to have him here next season and he has been an integral part of us this year."
Everton are reportedly considering a bid for the former Turf Moor youth academy graduate.
