Burnley boss Sean Dyche has admitted that his side deserved their 2-0 defeat to Ipswich Town in the Championship.
The Clarets remain without a win in the league this season after losing to the Tractor Boys at Portman Road last night.
Despite claiming that his team are currently in a "transition" phase, Dyche has no arguments about the result.
"I must say I thought Ipswich deserved it overall," he told the club's official website. "They showed they have been playing in the Championship for a couple of years and have an experienced group.
"We are down to the bare bones of the squad, but I must make it clear that is still a squad that can compete. We have to find that right way of working and we have to realise that you have to find different ways of playing in the Championship. The team has to adapt to the different challenges that come our way and we are in that transition."
Burnley have the chance to record their first victory of the season on Saturday when they welcome Brentford to Turf Moor.
