Bristol Rovers draft in Fabian Spiess

Bristol Rovers loan Notts County goalkeeper Fabian Spiess on an emergency loan deal after an injury to Steve Mildenhall.

Notts County goalkeeper Fabian Spiess has moved to Bristol Rovers on an emergency loan deal.

The Conference Premier side suffered a blow in midweek when regular stopper Steve Mildenhall was forced off injured against Wrexham and has since been ruled out until next year.

Understudy Will Puddy is also sidelined, which has resulted in manager Darrell Clarke moving for the German goalkeeper.

The 20-year-old has made two appearances, both in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, for County this season.
