Blackburn Rovers lead Brighton & Hove Albion 1-0 after 45 minutes at the Amex Stadium.

Scott Dann's header is all that separates Blackburn Rovers and Brighton & Hove Albion at the half-time interval at the Amex Stadium.

The Seagulls started brightly, with Vicente proving to be a particular menace to the Rovers defence.

However, he was unable to find a way past Jake Kean with a couple of stinging efforts.

The hosts were dominating possession, but after soaking up enormous amounts of pressure it was Michael Appleton's men who took the lead in the 24th minute.

Scott Dann managed to peel away from his marker to head home Danny Murphy's corner.

Blackburn could have been further ahead had DJ Campbell done better after getting on the end of Markus Olsson's cross, but he headed over at the back post.
