Brentford are reportedly confident that Christian Eriksen will extend his contract with the club.
The playmaker joined the Premier League side in January on a six-month deal until the end of this season after his time with Inter Milan came to an end.
The 30-year-old was unable to play in Serie A due to the league rulings not allowing someone with a heart defibrillator to participate, leading to his release from Inter and subsequent return to England.
Eriksen has been able to make three appearances for the Bees since that point, and according to The Times, the club are confident that he will sign an extension to his current contract.
The Denmark international is expected to wait until the 2021-22 campaign ends in order to guarantee that the Bees will remain in the Premier League, with talks over a new deal yet to officially begin.
After 30 games Brentford are 15th in the table, sitting eight points above the relegation zone.
