Uwe Rosler praises strike duo

Uwe Rosler credits Brentford's victory to the hard work of strikers Clayton Donaldson and Will Grigg.

Brentford manager Uwe Rosler has praised his strikers Clayton Donaldson and Will Grigg following today's 2-0 win over Coventry City.

The Bees climbed to 10th in League One with victory at Sixfields.

"It took us 10 or 15 minutes to realise that we had to defend from the top," PA quotes Rosler as saying. "We planned to do that all week.

"[The strikers] did a very good job for the team and without them doing the job they did, we would have had problems. They limited Coventry's offensive options from the back and obviously they were dangerous with the ball.

"It was encouraging to see that, even at 2-0, we kept going for the third and for the fourth. I am delighted that we got a clean sheet form such a strong, strong team performance."

Brentford entertain Rotherham United at Griffin Park next Saturday.
