Brechin City goalkeeper Graeme Smith travels 83 miles to wrong ground

Goalkeeper Graeme Smith travels 83 miles to the wrong ground before starting for Brechin City against Stenhousemuir on Saturday afternoon.

Brechin City goalkeeper Graeme Smith has travelled 83 miles to the wrong ground ahead of his side's fixture with Stenhousemuir.

The 32-year-old made the journey to Stenhousemuir's Ochilview Park believing that his side were playing away on Saturday afternoon.

After realising his mistake, Smith quickly made his way back to Brechin to take his place in the starting lineup.

Brechin began the day two points adrift at the bottom of the Scottish League One table.
